As hundreds of Mechinat Harel graduates proudly and courageously perform selfless service - we respectfully and continuously remember two recent alumni: Simon Shlomov z"l and Boris Dunavetski z"l.Their incredible lives and sacrifice embody the Zionist ethos. They continue to inspire us all, and forever exemplify the spirit of Mechinat Harel.

Boris Dunavetski z"l
Boris made Aliyah on his own as teenager from Russia in 2018
After studying at Mechinat Harel, he enlisted as a combat soldier in the IDF, serving with pride as a lone soldier in the Tanks Corps.
Boris recently fell in battle, defending Israel and the Jewish People.

Simon Shlomov z"l
Simon made Aliyah as teenager from Kazakhstan in 2021.
After studying at Mechinat Harel, he enlisted as a combat soldier in the IDF, serving with pride as a lone soldier as a Paratrooper Brigade.
Simon recently fell in battle, defending Israel and the Jewish People.
