Mechinat Harel's “Yadav Be’emunah” program is a pioneering pre-military academy designed for young Haredi men who wish to combine rigorous Torah study with purposeful service in the Israel Defense Forces.

Since 2025, Mechinat Harel has led the academy as part of its mission to cultivate a new generation of Zionist, values-driven leaders within the Haredi community. As increasing numbers of Haredi youth express a desire to serve, “Yadav Be’emunah” provides a supportive, faith-based environment alongside professional preparation for military service.

Our Focus

Jewish Identity: In-depth Torah study, character development, and a strong sense of communal responsibility.

Preparation for Military Service: Building emotional strength, physical fitness, and practical skills to meet the challenges of the IDF.

Our Vision

Mechinat Harel’s “Yadav Be’emunah” is a cornerstone for a healthy, connected, and equitable Israeli society - where Haredi youth actively defend the State of Israel and contribute to its future without compromising their faith or religious identity.

Yadav Be’emunah operates in partnership with the Ministry of Defense’s Social-Security Division, the Netzach Yehuda Association, and other partners. Under Mechinat Harel’s leadership, a new chapter is unfolding - empowering a young Haredi generation to lead with faith, responsibility, and courage.
