Shorashim is a pre-military academy for young men, established as a joint initiative of the Harel Association and the Me'al U'Me'ever organization.

The academy combines preparation for meaningful service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) with leadership development, personal growth, and community involvement, while drawing inspiration from Jewish traditions and Hasidic values.

The program welcomes young men from diverse backgrounds who wish to take part in a meaningful journey of preparation for military service and adult life. Through educational activities, group experiences, and volunteer work, students develop independence, personal responsibility, mental resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.
